Persistent Identifiers in Research Management: People, Places, and Things

In this presentation, ORCID is introduced as a globally unique identifier for researchers, and how this identifier may be linked to other identifiers for people, places, and things in the research domain is demonstrated. Impact on discoverability, data entry, and evaluation is discussed.
