Powerful, Integrated Tools for Control
Control System Professional Suite is an extensible framework of
tightly integrated Mathematica application packages for the
common, interdisciplinary control problems that arise in the
mechanical, electrical, chemical, and aerospace areas, as well as
other fields including biology, chemistry, finance, and economics.
Control System Professional Suite is based on Version 2 of the
award-winning Control System
Professional. Control System Professional 2 contains
numerous enhancements to the existing feature set and introduces
several new algorithmic and interface features. Control System
Professional 2 also includes internal changes that simplify the
addition of new packages to the Control System Professional
Suite while maintaining the integrity of a
single Mathematica application.
The first addition to the Control System Professional Suite
is Advanced Numerical
Methods. Advanced Numerical Methods expands the scope
of the Control System Professional Suite by adding new
state-of-the-art numerical algorithms for a wide class of control
problems and a number of linear algebra problems with applications in
control theory.
Polynomial Control
Systems, the second addition to the suite, provides new tools
for modeling, analysis, and design of linear control systems described
by polynomial matrix equations or by matrices with rational polynomial
elements. For multivariable systems, these polynomial-based algorithms
often provide designers with more informative and meaningful
answers than established state-space-based methods.
Control System Professional Suite is an indispensable tool for
professionals, researchers, educators, and students in the field of
