Wolfram Technologies Workshop

You'll learn about the latest in Wolfram technologies through live tutorials and training sessions, and you're also encouraged to bring your laptop along, so you can join in and take advantage of these interactive sessions.Or you can just sit back and enjoy the sessions as presentations.

The Program

Wolfram Technologies Overview
Whether you're new to Mathematica or are already familiar with the system, you will gain valuable information about applying our computation to your workflow most efficiently.

Download a free 30-day trial of Mathematica here.

Hands-On: Mathematica—An Introduction
After just 60 minutes, both new and old Mathematica users will have gained valuable information about working with the system more efficiently and getting the results they want.

Hands-On: Visualization and Interactivity
This session is a 30-minute tutorial about two- and three-dimensional plotting of functions and data; options for plots; visualizing time-dependent data; matrix and statistical visualizations; graphs and social network analysis; creating interactive visualizations; and authoring with the Computable Document Format.

Wolfram SystemModeler: Integrated Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis
Learn how Wolfram SystemModeler can be used to build and simulate complex hierarchical systems in the Modelica component-based paradigm. SystemModeler allows multidomain models to be built through an easy-to-use drag-and-drop environment, or else programmatically. Simulation results (and entire models) may then be imported into Mathematica to leverage our 25 years of development in analytical software and powerful interactive capabilities.

Hands-On: 5 Tips for Writing Wolfram Language Code
This session will help you optimize your Wolfram Language code in Mathematica so that it evaluates and runs more efficiently. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and some existing Wolfram Language code, as this session will teach you all the tips you will ever need.
