Stylesheets and CDFs

I recently created a custom stylesheet. I then created a notebook with the new style, confirmed that the note book had adopted the style, and then saved a copy in CDF. But when I opened the CDF in Wolfram's CDF Player, the style had not been applied to the document. Does this mean that CDFs are not able to adopt the style of the original notebook if the style comes from a custom stylesheet? If so, that's a drag because I've got a big workflow to complete, and applying styles manually to the different types of cells of each new notebook just isn't feasible!

In your CDF document, did you link to your custom stylesheet, or did you embed your custom stylesheet in the document itself? I just tested the latter case and it worked fine.

Hi Michael,

Not sure because I didn't consciously do either. I simply saved the notebook document as CDF, assuming that the styles would be sent along (embedded) with the newly created document. I didn't see anything in the Documentation Centre about this.
