Hello, my name is Tom De Vries and I teach mathematics for an online school.
The school is small and I am "the" high school math department.
I create all my lessons using Mathematica and am excited about the possibilities of the new CDF Player and hope to make lessons that are more interactive and engaging for my students.
Because I create largely in a vacuum, I would be very interested in working with other teachers who are using Mathematica in similar ways. I'd appreciate having others read lessons and provide comments before I use them, and would be willing to do the same.
If this forum provides opportunities for this kind of collaboration, I'd be excited to participate.

Hi Tom,
I'm Ruben Garcia and I currently teach math for Monash University Foundation Program (MUFY).
I have a Mathematica in the classroom license and I'm trying to engage my Indonesian students by slowly incorporating Mathematica and Wolfram Alpha into my classroom.
The topics I teach are currently related to:
- Arithmetic (GCD,LCM)
- Algebra (Equation solving)
- Ratios and Proportions
- Basic descriptive statistics
- Functions (Domain, Range, Asymptotes, Intercepts)
- Series (Arithmetic, Geometric)
- Time Value of Money
My approach is currently more "ad-hoc" but I'd be very happy to take a look at your lessons and even try them out in my classes if you would allow me to.

I'm a senior maths teacher in Brisbane, Queensland. I teach across the full range of topics from general to advanced high school level mathematics.
