Do you teach finance or statistics? If so, below are links to some videos and notebooks from the Wolfram Finance Platform Virtual Workshop 2012, which will not only show you how to use Mathematica and the new Wolfram Finance Platform for financial statistics, modeling, and visualization, but also provide some interesting examples that you can use in your classes.

Financial Statistics

Statistical methods provide a powerful tool for analyzing and drawing conclusions from financial data. This talk showcases the application of probability, distribution, and statistical analysis to financial data.

Financial Modeling and Visualization
with Michael Kelly
Wolfram Finance Platform offers an integrated solution for the finance industry. This course focuses on the data analysis, modeling, and visualization aspects of the platform. Practical examples with 2D and 3D visualizations will be given. We will also discuss ways to create interactive tools for analyzing and presenting findings using Mathematica's Manipulate command.
