One of the main actions of my group is to travel to schools and give technical talks on Mathematica --- to people who have used Mathematica for 20+ years as well as those who have never seen it before --- at a variety of precollege schools, community & technical colleges and universities.
Hopefully many of you have had a member of our Academic Initiatives Group visit your campus either in person or online by giving a technical talk to you and your colleagues. Within the United States & Canada, we're going to put a hold on traveling during summer break and then start up again in August. If you'd like us to come give a technical talk on your campus, just email me.
However, we are extremely busy with our international travel throughout June, July and August visiting universities and giving talks at conferences.
Here are a few of those things we're doing in the near future. If you have more questions, or again, would like to request an in-person or online talk at your school, please just contact me with your request:
Brazil Mathematica Conference 2010 (June 15-July 4, 2010) - http://www.wolfram.com/events/brazil2010
Australia and New Zealand Conference 2010 (July 21-August 6)
Malaysia Mathematica Conference 2010 (July 26-August 5, 2010)
In addition, if you are interested in seeing us at an academic conference over the summer, you can find us here as well:
American Society for Engineering Education (June 20-23, 2010 - Louisville, Kentucky)
International Society for Technology in Education (June 27-30, 2010 - Denver, Colorado)
International Mathematica Symposium (July 16-18, 2010 - Tsingua University, Beijing, China) - http://www.ims2010.cc/International_Mathematica_Symposium/10th_International_Mathematica_Symposium.html
We love talking about Mathematica - hopefully we'll get to present all of the great things we're doing to you soon!
