I recently received the following email from a colleague who will be giving a series of talks throughout New Zealand and Australia during the Australasia Mathematica Tour 2011. If you are in the area, you won't want to miss it!

We invite you to participate in the upcoming Australasia Mathematica Tour 2011.

These world-renowned seminars will provide an overview of the new features in Mathematica 8 and showcase the breakthroughs that broaden Mathematica's scope in a wide range of areas in research and education, including the new free-form input feature.

Whether you are an experienced Mathematica user or a complete beginner, these seminars will teach you how to use Mathematica in almost any field--finance, statistics, engineering, software development, image processing, and much more.

The seminars will include stops at Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart, and Canberra. Some locations may also have training available for you and your colleagues.
