Some services provided by Mathematica require Mathematica to access our servers through the internet. When this occurs, our servers receive information similar to the information that would be received if you were browsing a website, together with your Mathematica License Number or Mathematica Activation Key and Mathematica machine ID. Utilization of the Wolfram|Alpha functionality will trigger the collection of information about the specific query. Additionally, some queries may require an expanded set of information collection that can include session information covering the history of Mathematica evaluations or the content of Mathematica notebooks containing the Wolfram|Alpha query. You will be given an opt-in prompt on a per-session basis about this expanded Wolfram|Alpha information collection feature.
