Wolfram Updates Mathematica 6 with Nearly 200 Performance Enhancements
July 5, 2007--Wolfram Research announced today a minor update to Mathematica 6, the
world's most powerful global computing environment. Mathematica
6.0.1--now available free to all registered Mathematica 6
users--introduces nearly 200 improvements for even faster and more
reliable computation, visualization, and network connectivity.
In addition to the over a thousand computational functions and interface
enhancements new in Mathematica 6, Mathematica 6.0.1 contains:
- Enhanced automatic and manual proxy settings for internet connectivity
