Control System Professional Suite brings the following features together in a single package for professionals, researchers, educators, and students.

Symbolic Capabilities
Control System Professional Suite enables you to get analytical solutions to many control problems, such as continuous-to-discrete time conversions, state-space analysis and design, and model building (including estimator and controller design). This makes it possible, for example, to start from the analog symbolic system definition, discretize it, design a discrete feedback using pole-assignment, connect the controller, and obtain the closed loop system, all in symbolic form.

Unified System Representation
Control System Professional Suite combines all system information into convenient data structures that can seamlessly pass results from one function to another. It automatically recognizes whether your equations are discrete or continuous and chooses algorithms accordingly. For example, it will solve the Riccati equation behind the scenes and use the proper formula to convert the solution into the feedback gains for the optimal linear-quadratic regulator. Experts, however, may readily access all the intermediate steps.

Working Precision
Control System Professional Suite allows you to increase the working precision in all calculations to avoid meaningless results that would occur when the result is prone to numerical errors.

State-of-the-Art Numerical Algorithms
Control System Professional Suite contains robust and reliable numerical algorithms that have been proven to be numerically stable either by round-off error analysis or by extensive empirical evidence.
