Teaching Experience
Before coming to Wolfram Research, Rob was an assistant professor at
Bowdoin College, teaching applied mathematics. He has given numerous
lectures and courses on Mathematica.
Mathematica Experience
Rob has been working as a developer on the Mathematica kernel since
1994, primarily working on numerical features. He has worked with
other developers on many kernel improvements from Mathematica Version
2.2, including unconstrained optimization, ordinary and partial
differential equations, numerical linear algebra, PackedArrays, and
SparseArrays. He is the author of the "M185: Numerical Computation in Mathematica" courses.
