Meet the Instructors: Paul Wellin

Paul Wellin

B.S. in Mathematics, University of Michigan
M.A. in Mathematics, University of California, Berkeley

Teaching Experience
Paul Wellin has had 14 years of experience teaching mathematics. He has taught courses at the junior high school level through university mathematics courses. He was also instrumental in introducing and integrating Mathematica into the undergraduate curriculum at Sonoma State University where he taught for four years.

Mathematica Experience
Wellin is a coauthor of two books on Mathematica: An Introduction to Programming with Mathematica and Computer Simulations with Mathematica. In addition, he founded the journal Mathematica in Education and Research and was its editor in chief for the first five years. He is the author of the "M195: Authoring in Mathematica" courses.
