S15: Senior Developer Q&A

Seminar Objective
To provide a Q&A forum with Mathematica senior developers.

Presenters and Topics
Each Mathematica Q&A seminar is led by a different senior developer, according to the following schedule.

May 2008:

  • Tuesday, May 6, noon EDT
    Presenter: Yu-Sung Chang, Kernel Developer
    Topics: Graphics programming with Mathematica; data import, process and visualization; curated data (data paclets)
  • Tuesday, May 20, 6pm EDT
    Presenter: Roger Germundsson, Director of Research and Development
    Topics: Anything involving Mathematica

June 2008:

  • Tuesday, June 10, noon EDT
    Presenter: André Kuzniarek, Manager of Document Technology
    Topic: Creating Documentation for Mathematica 6
  • Tuesday, June 24, noon EDT
    Presenter: Theodore Gray, Director of User Interface Technology
    Topic: The Mathematica front end

New sessions are added each month. Sign up for multiple sessions to speak with different developers.

Delivery Type
The 45-minute seminar is delivered live over the internet using Adobe Acrobat Connect. Use any one of the supported web browsers on your computer with Flash Player installed. The teleconference allows you to hear the presentation and participate in discussion. Voice over IP can also be used, and requires a suitable microphone or headset. Prerequisites
No background or previous experience with Mathematica is required to attend this seminar.
