This seminar facilitates the move to Mathematica 6 from earlier versions of the software.
The seminar is presented by a senior member of the Wolfram Research technical staff.
Representation of graphics, new and changed options, adaptive sampling
algorithms, arrays of graphics, animations, graphics packages, plotting multiple functions and data
options framework, random number generators, old constructs versus new
functions, statistical functions
Saving files in other formats, import and export, buttons, hyperlinks,
Migrating from legacy packages, using current packages
Automatic updating using Mathematica Version Advisory tool
Migrating to the Documentation Center, creating links to the
Documentation Center, using legacy documentation, searching for help
The seminar is delivered online using Adobe Acrobat Connect. Use any one of the
supported web browsers on
your computer with Flash Player installed. Once you have registered for a session, you will receive a
confirmation email with a seminar login link. To see and hear the
presentation, click the link at the scheduled time, then simply log in
to the online seminar.
Adobe Connect natively supports streaming audio and video. A
telephone audio conference is also available, should you prefer to
join via phone; a toll-free number is provided for callers in the
U.S. and Canada.
