Introduction |
 |
The Illinois Institute of Technology's Stuart Graduate School of Business
and Wolfram Research are collaborating to offer a
series of seminars on the application of the Mathematica
software system in mathematical and computational finance. The
seminars will be given on a weekly basis at the Stuart Graduate School of Business
in Chicago, and each seminar will be held on Friday at lunchtime.
The series of seminars will be presented on a computer with overhead
projection and will illustrate not only the built-in functionality of Mathematica
but also the extensive Mathematica applications from both Wolfram
Research and independent developers. Those applications that allow the solution of a wide
range of financial problems will be discussed.
