The Mathematica system has been world famous since its launch in 1988,
and more recently is becoming widely used in China. Now, nearly 20 years
on, Wolfram Research has released a major new product: Mathematica 6.
Although based on the original system, Mathematica 6 is dramatically
different. Its combination of new technologies fundamentally alters
what's possible in computing.
The China Mathematica Tour is your chance to be one of the first to hear about these
major developments, to see and to try Mathematica 6. The three 1-day
events each feature talks from two key figures at Wolfram Research:
Conrad Wolfram--director of strategic development and brother of
Mathematica principal architect Stephen Wolfram, and
Dr. Yifan Hu--senior Mathematica developer.
They will discuss both conceptual ideas and practical applications of
the new technology to a wide range of fields, explaining how it's
fundamentally different from what's come before.
As well as a half day of talks, there will be complimentary hands-on
Mathematica 6 training so attendees can learn firsthand how to use
Mathematica's broad range of new capabilities in their work. The
forthcoming Mathematica Chinese Edition will be previewed.
Key reasons to come to one of the events:
- Find out how computing can help or better help your work
- See how to apply Mathematica to education and research
- Get started with Mathematica; be one of the first to get experience with Mathematica 6
- Get involved in the Chinese Mathematica user community
The seminars and training sessions are free, but space is limited and registration is required. To reserve your seat, please complete the registration form.
