Mathematica in Education and Research
Muscat, Oman
January 26, 2004
Introduction |
 |
The Mathematica Gulf Conference to be
presented by Wolfram Research and Sultan Qaboos University in 2004 is the first
of its kind to be held in the Arabian Peninsula. It is a multidisciplinary conference that
will cover using Mathematica in education at both the undergraduate and the graduate
level. If you use Mathematica in research or with students, this conference
offers a unique opportunity to hear talks from experienced users and to learn new
techniques.
The one-day conference will cover usages of Mathematica in
teaching and in conducting research and is free. An optional two-day
postconference training course will be offered to conference
attendees for a substantially reduced cost of £100.
(Note: The training course cost to nonconference attendees will be £500.)
There is limited space available
for both the conference and the training course, and we recommend that you
register early to avoid disappointment. To make a reservation, please complete the seminar registration form.
