Background

Since 1989 Vincent Buonomano has given many courses in Mathematica. These courses have been attended by undergraduate and graduate students, as well as by academic and research professionals. He currently gives introductory to advanced courses in Mathematica in either English or Portuguese and also furnishes consulting in Mathematica. He has had much experience in information technology in many programming languages and operating systems in both commercial and scientific environments. He is based in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil.

Buonomano received his Ph.D. in mathematics from McMaster University in Canada. He has published extensively on the foundations of quantum mechanics and has also worked with stochastic diffusion processes. He has worked for Boeing and NASA in the Apollo program. For most of his career he has been a Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil.
