Background
Since 1989 Vincent Buonomano has given many courses in Mathematica. He
has had much experience in information technology in many programming
languages and operating systems in both commercial and scientific
environments. He is based in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil.
Buonomano received his PhD in mathematics from McMaster University
in Canada. He has published extensively in quantum mechanics. He has
worked for Boeing and NASA in the Apollo program. For most of his
career, he has been a professor of applied mathematics at UNICAMP in
Brazil. During the last ten years, he has been developing software to
control water loss for municipal water companies at Sanasa-Campinas.
