Background

Claudia Guzner has used Mathematica for many years to instruct both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as academic and research professionals, and is well known in Latin America for her innovative developments in education. Her research and experience in computer-aided teaching of mathematics has led her to develop a line of interactive courseware using Mathematica.

Prof. Guzner received her degree in mathematics at La Plata University in Argentina and did her postgraduate studies at Cuyo University, also in Argentina, where she now teaches. She was a visiting scholar at Wolfram Research in 1998.

Prof. Guzner is cofounder of CompuMat Argentina, a company devoted to the development of Mathematica-based course material in the Spanish language and is also the author of newly released interactive courseware in Spanish on Linear Algebra, Calculus I, and Calculus II.
