Bill Haneberg has used Mathematica on NeXT and Macintosh systems to solve
research and consulting problems in geomechanics, engineering geology, and
hydrogeology since 1989. Many of these solutions have been described in
peer-reviewed papers and presented at major scientific meetings. Bill has also used
Mathematica as a teaching tool in graduate-level classes in geomechanics. In 1999
he left a senior research position at the New Mexico Bureau of Mines and Mineral Resources
to establish a consulting practice based in the Seattle area.
