Mathematica Trainer and Consultant: Yakov Krasnov
Yakov
Krasnov
provides Mathematica
training courses to help users learn about the product quickly. With five
years of experience using Mathematica, he has presented lectures on
computational methods with Mathematica and has
given several courses in numerical methods with Mathematica
at Bar-Ilan University.
Yakov Krasnov received his Ph.D.
in mathematical physics and differential equations from Lomonosov
Moscow State University
and Kazakh Academy of Sciences in 1977. Krasnov worked for Wolfram
Research for two years as an external collaborator in the Applications
department.
In 1991 Krasnov gained an appointment as a scientific researcher in
the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Bar-Ilan
University
in Israel. He does research in the areas of complex analysis and partial
differential equations and has general
interests in problems in computational mathematics and mathematical
physics.
