Online Training Information

Q&A--Online Classes | Q&A--Online Seminars | Computer Requirements

Online training is an easy and efficient way to learn about what's new in Mathematica, find out about emerging technologies, and develop new skills and understanding. Online classes from Wolfram Education Group offer the same high-quality courses that are presented in computer classrooms around the world, with complete course materials provided by download. Classes are presented live by certified instructors, and small class sizes ensure a personal training experience. By comparison, Wolfram Education Group's free online seminars are brief, one-hour presentations, offered live by senior Wolfram Research technical staff, to a larger audience.

Q&A--Online Classes

Wolfram Education Group online classes offer certified Mathematica training without the need to travel. Join an online class from your office or home by connecting to the web from your own computer. A courseware download consisting of Mathematica notebooks and packages is included with your training registration, and a 30-day Mathematica training version is available at no additional cost.

Online classes are divided into training sessions of two to four hours each. When you register for online training, you register for all of the training sessions for a particular class. Dates and times are listed on the Wolfram Education Group training calendar.

Q&A--Online Seminars

Wolfram Education Group free online seminars run for one hour, including 10-15 minutes for questions. Mathematica is not required for participation in free online seminars; however, registration is required. Dates and times are listed on the Wolfram Education Group seminar calendar.

You also need a telephone with a speaker or telephone headset that is located near your computer, or a suitable computer microphone or headset. To participate in the course exercises, you'll need the courseware and a current version of Mathematica installed on your computer. Although you may be prompted to install the Adobe Connect Add-in, it is not required for participation in online training.
