Chad Knutson

Chad Knutson’s research interests are in the area of transport and remediation of water pollutants. Research topics have included numerical simulations of two-phase flows in porous media and of biological degradation of polluted groundwater. He also investigated technologies for reducing water consumption at fossil-fuel power-generating stations. He has worked at Wolfram Research since 2013.

Knutson taught an upper-level undergraduate course on hazardous waste management during his time at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has been a certified instructor with Wolfram Research since 2016.
