Sverker Lundin has used Mathematica since 1998. Working together with the French mathematicians Henry Rouanet and Brigitte Le Roux, he has written a package for geometrical data analysis (MaGDA), which has been used in a number of sociological research projects. In collaboration with students at Chalmers University of Technology, this package was recently extended to handle Relational Corpus Analysis (RCA), to be used in literature and linguistics. Lundin has worked for DoubleClick AB since 2008, giving talks and teaching courses on Mathematica.
Lundin holds a postdoctoral position at the Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science at the University of Gothenburg. He has been teaching at the university level since 2000, in subjects ranging from mathematics and computer science to sociology and the history of education. He is currently working with the project Conceptions of Mathematics in Swedish Education 18801980, funded by the Swedish Research Council.
