Silva Torosyan

Silva Torosyan is a lecturer in mathematics, computer science, and computer engineering and is a senior engineer in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She teaches a course titled The Computer System Mathematica and Its Possibilities.

Torosyan began using Mathematica in 2004 while working on her master’s degree. In 2005 her diploma work took third place at the Republican Conference of Young Scientists of Georgia. Torosyan uses Mathematica for creating testing and student exam programs and is the coauthor of two scientific articles on this topic. Her testing programs in Mathematica are used at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
