My education background is in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from India. Of course...there was no internet then and very little computer/technology based teaching. All learning was from reference books and journal articles. So I was really excited to see functions like ProteinData, GenomeData in Mathematica and even demonstrations on blue-green algae.
I'm curious to know what other topics in this field are educators like you are discussing with the help of Mathematica? Any favorite examples or visualizations?
