CDF deployed on web page ignores Manipulate bookmarks

Postby Tom_Verhoeff » Thu May 30, 2013 9:41 pm

I created a CDF with a Manipulate that includes some Bookmarks for common variables settings.

Within Mathematica this works nicely: you can click the plus sign in the top right-hand corner to get a menu where you can select a bookmark to set the variables. You can even create bookmarks on the fly, while you operate the Manipulate. Very convenient when experimenting.

However, when the CDF is deployed on a web page and operated through the free CDF Player, there is only a run button in the top right-hand corner.

Is there a way to offer bookmarks in Manipulates inside CDFs that are deployed on a web page?

Where can I find an overview of what Mathematica features do/do not work inside CDFs used through a CDF Player? This could help prevent future disappointments.
