Tensors in Physics is a combined e-book and software package. The e-book provides a guide and brief refresher course to differential geometry in general and to the rigid frame tensor analysis technique in particular. It also acts as a user manual for the software package, Cartan, which is a Mathematica package for tensor computations.

Cartan was developed in part at the European Centre for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva and at the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics (NORDITA) in Copenhagen. Additional Resources
