Plotting Relationships between Rivers and Other Entities

"River" entities provide useful information about the flow and discharge of major rivers, as well as relationships with other bodies of water and features that cross them, such as bridges. You can use this data to produce some interesting visualizations of river flows and widths.

You can construct an implicit entity class of notable rivers that flow into the Mississippi.

You can then use FilteredEntityClass to find notable bridges that cross any of those rivers for which a position is available in the Wolfram Knowledgebase.

Finally, you can use GeoRegionValuePlot to map the locations of those rivers, weighted by their overall length. The resulting visualization roughly outlines the path of many rivers, as well as the increasing width of the Mississippi closer to its outflow in the Gulf of Mexico.
