The PowerGrids Library enables the modeling and simulation of AC and hybrid AC/DC power systems using a phasor-based approach. By focusing on system-level dynamics rather than electromagnetic transients, it allows users to efficiently analyze grid stability, power flow and control interactions in large-scale electric networks. The library is ideal for exploring phenomena such as frequency control and synchronous islanding within modern power systems.
