Home Edition is ideal for personal, non-professional use. It includes enough computation kernels and Wolfram|Alpha API calls to explore your ideas. Home Edition is not for commercial or academic use.
Starter Edition provides special pricing for first-time Mathematica customers. It also includes one year of Premier Service. However, if you want to upgrade to a new version of Mathematica or renew Premier Service, you must switch to Standard Edition.
Standard Edition is the ideal solution for professional use. Significant resources are included, like support for up to an eight-core machine and 6,000 Wolfram|Alpha API calls. You also get one year of Premier Service, which includes phone access to Wolfram Technical Support.
If you are developing and deploying to customers or incorporating Mathematica into your infrastructure, then Enterprise Edition is the ideal solution. Enterprise-level support and Premier Service benefits are also included.
How long do my Premier Service benefits last?
Premier Service benefits remain active for one year. To keep access to your benefits, service must be renewed each year.
