Editing and Reusing Output

In Mathematica you can edit output directly. Simply place the cursor at the position where you want to edit and start typing. Mathematica automatically copies the output into a new input cell.

You can also select pieces of the output either for further operations with palettes or keyboard shortcuts or for copying and pasting within Mathematica or into other applications such as Word or Excel.
