Development: Enterprise-Class Web Applications

This course chronicles Wolfram Research's two internal projects: a massive, real-time network traffic visualization and an advertisement dashboard system for Wolfram|Alpha. From planning to deployment, both projects were completed by only using Mathematica in a relatively short period of time. This real-world, scenario-driven course addresses topics that are applicable to many enterprise-wide projects: large database access (SQL and HBase), kernel as a background service, dynamic visualization with no interruption, and deploying a complex web interface through Computable Document Format (CDF) technology.

Level: Advanced

The course requires some knowledge of web application development.
