The 10 Habits of Highly Effective Research Data

The main tenet of the current "data science" trend is that new science can be done on old data. To make this possible, the data needs to be collected and stored in a way that allows downstream scrutiny, validation, and use. In this talk, I argue that this means that the many parties currently involved in data creation, storage, and access should be interested in each other’s problems and come to a joint solution.
