Ocean Maximal Tides
TideData gives the tide-related values associated with a location or set of tidal parameters, including details about high tide and water levels. Here examples of some of those values are shown for the city of Norfolk.
Calculate the next high tide, the highest tide in the next day, the next spring tide and the next perigean spring tide.
Compare these results against the highest calculable tide based on the available tide data.
Compute the water level though January and the phase of the Moon during the same period.
Plot the water level through January, marking the different high tides, and compare with the phases of the Moon.
