Symbolic Computation

One of the important features of Mathematica is that it can do symbolic, as well as numerical, calculations. This means it can handle algebraic formulas as well as numbers. In this video, Conrad Wolfram gives a brief overview of symbolic computation in Mathematica and explains its advantages.
