Mastering Fine Arts with Mathematica: Using Code as Artistic Medium

As an astrophysicist turned artist, I will talk about my journey from studying science to creating art in Mathematica and how the current art world has embraced code as a creative medium. I will discuss new ways I've learned how to use Mathematica for generating art and highlight some of my students' work as "artist first" Mathematica users.
