Demonstration of the Tennis Racket Theorem Using a Wing Nut Model
The tennis racket theorem or the Dzhanibekov effect describes how the rotation of a rigid body around its first and third principal axis is stable, but around its second or intermediate axis is not. This video uses System Modeler to visualize this effect using a wing nut.
