Simone Szurmant

Simone Szurmant

Simone Szurmant began using Mathematica for research projects in stochastics and economics in 2001, during her mathematics and economics studies at the University of Karlsruhe. She also has experience with Java, C, and R, having used them for her diploma thesis on optimizing numerical integration.

In 2010, she joined the ADDITIVE GmbH sales team and became responsible for the academic sector of ADDITIVE’s Mathematica customers. Since 2013, she has been conducting Mathematica training at commercial and academic sites. She is interested in computable math, in developing Mathematica teaching materials for German schools, and in the Computable Data Format (CDF) and its applications in science and industry.
