2. ENTRIES: From April 23, 2007, to April 30, 2007 (the "Contest Period"), Wolfram Research, Inc. ("WRI") is conducting a contest for programming in the Mathematica language. To enter, each participant must register online, provide complete contact information for a faculty sponsor, agree to the official rules and regulations, and submit an entry during the Contest Period. All entry submissions ("Entries") must be in the name of and submitted by an individual person, and (except in the case of a minor) prizes will only be awarded to the person whose name is on each winning entry, regardless of other circumstances. Entries must be the entrants' original, previously unpublished work, and all Entries become the property of WRI. All Entries must be submitted by 18:00 Moscow time on April 30, 2007, using the provided Mathematica notebook and following the instructions included within the notebook. These Entries will not be returned, and may be used by WRI in any manner or media in perpetuity without compensation. WRI is not responsible for misdirected, inaccurate, incomplete, lost, late, delayed, undelivered, damaged, or illegible Entries, and all such Entries will be deemed void. WRI is also not responsible for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind, or other errors or problems that may occur in connection with or relating to the Contest, whether computer, network, technical, mechanical, typographical, printing, human, or otherwise, including, without limitation, errors or problems that may occur in connection with the administration of the Contest, the processing or judging of Entries, the announcement of the prizes, in any Contest-related materials, or that may limit prize fulfillment or a participant's ability to enter the Contest.
3. JUDGING: Five (5) Winners ("Winners") will be selected by a panel of WRI staff members by May 30, 2007, from submitters of all eligible Entries. From these Winners, the Grand Prize Winner shall be declared. The Winners will be determined based on evaluation of the Entries under the following criteria: CORRECTNESS (50%), BREVITY OF THE CODE (30%), and TIMING (20%). The decisions of the judges will be final and binding on all participants. The odds of being a Winner will depend on the total number of eligible Entries received during the Contest Period.

Winners must also meet all eligibility requirements in Paragraph 1 above, as well as the execution and return of all necessary releases, and verification of faculty sponsorship. Winners may be required to provide proof of identity, address, and birth date, as well as to execute and return an affidavit of school enrollment, tax acknowledgment form, liability release, and publicity release within 30 DAYS of date of issuance in order to claim their prize. If any Winner fails to do so or if: (i) any prize notification is returned as undeliverable, (ii) a Winner declines his or her prize, or (iii) a Winner is determined to be ineligible for any reason, such Winner will be disqualified and, at WRI's sole discretion, a replacement Winner may be selected.
