Dynamic Template Boxes and Other Typesetting Advances

Jason Harris discusses the box representation in the Mathematica front end, leading into the discussion of TemplateBoxes and the representation of many typeset and evaluatable expressions in the front end. This talk unveils one of our latest developments: the extension to dynamic TemplateBoxes. Dynamic TemplateBoxes “unify” the dynamic paradigm into TemplateBoxes and encapsulate much more than we could previously wrap into the TemplateBox framework.
