This three-part course sequence will help you get up to speed on all things Wolfram Language in two short weeks. First, learn the basics of Wolfram Language syntax and the notebook interface, including Wolfram AI Assistant. In the second course, you'll learn more about how to visualize mathematical functions, how to represent different types of data and how to customize plots, charts and other graphics. The third course in the sequence focuses on the computational intelligence and curated real-world knowledge in Wolfram Language. Each course is available individually, but the course sequence gives you the convenience of a unified schedule and provides a comprehensive collection of topics. The series includes three Wolfram Language courses: Introduction to Wolfram Tech; Function and Data Visualization: A Showcase of Plots, Charts and Graphics; and Computational Xplorations.
Course Overview
Requirements: This course requires no prior knowledge of Wolfram Language or Mathematica.
Featured Products & Technologies: Wolfram Language and Wolfram Notebooks (available in Mathematica, Wolfram|One and Wolfram|Alpha Notebook Edition)
Outline
- Overview of Wolfram Tech: Learn the ins and outs of notebook technology. Access Wolfram repositories to help you get started with example data, neural networks and additional functions. Program and deploy with the Wolfram Cloud.
- Learn to Code with Wolfram AI Assistant: See how to turn your ideas into computation. Easily find the functions you need and get help improving your code.
- Use Local and Cloud Notebooks: Use Wolfram Notebooks in your local installation and on the Wolfram Cloud. Learn how to move content back and forth between these environments.
- Solve Computational Problems: Get access to and compute with real-world data in Wolfram Language. Learn about data structures for computational analysis.
- Visualize & Plot Functions: Learn how to quickly plot simple mathematical functions and add custom styling. Move from simple to parametric and complex functions as well as vector fields, then see their three-dimensional variants.
- Work with Data: Learn to visualize one-, two- and three-dimensional datasets and discover which functions are best for you. Discover built-in Wolfram Language geographic functions.
- Scientific Applications: See examples that replicate real scientific workflows for subjects like microscopic image analysis, molecule recognition and video analysis.
