John McNally

Before joining Wolfram Research in 2022, John taught mathematics and physics for K–12 students, where he strove to make concepts from university courses and research accessible to a wider audience. John coached area students for Beamline for Schools, a physics competition for high-school students from all around the world. While teaching and coaching, John became interested in computational thinking as an organizing principle for education and as an important future skill for students.

At Wolfram, John has the role of Principal Academic Solutions Developer and serves as a Science & Tech Director at the Wolfram Summer Research Institute. He is the author of the Wolfram U interactive course Introduction to Finite Mathematics.
