Kit Wickham-Jones

Kit Wickham-Jones comes from a biosciences background, where he discovered a passion for computation while writing his bioinformatically guided thesis on drug discovery. He joined Wolfram in 2023 as an intern for the compiler team, where he gained experience programming from first principles in low-level languages. In 2024, he transferred to the consulting team, where his low-level understanding is applied to a range of internal- and external-facing projects. His work often intertwines Wolfram Language with various computational technologies, which he loves learning about along the way. As his engineering experience increases, he hopes to one day return to biosciences to provide software-based solutions to biomedically prevalent problems.
Kit’s practical and academic experience has allowed him to deliver Wolfram U trainings on various subjects, including biocomputation, AI and neural networks.
