Jeff Weidenaar

Jeff has been an Account Manager at Wolfram since 2023. He works with research universities to ensure that user needs are being met and that users receive the Wolfram tech training and support they need. Prior to that, he was an editor and marketing manager for mathematics textbooks and technology at Pearson: “Back in 2008, I worked with Wolfram to produce an interactive calculus textbook, and it turned out to be a best-seller. The love of Mathematica that I developed at the time is serving me well here at Wolfram!”

Jeff learned FORTRAN a long time ago and kept his programming skills fresh through the years with various work projects. When he landed at Wolfram, he dug into Wolfram Language in earnest: “I ended up working every exercise in Stephen Wolfram’s An Elementary Introduction to the Wolfram Language. This helped me achieve Wolfram Language and Mathematica certifications.” He then put those skills to use in faculty training sessions and personal projects. His favorite personal projects involve word games such as The New York Times puzzles Letter Boxed and Spelling Bee. Check out his personal blog for some Wolfram Language-powered insights.
