Dr. Fei Du is an associate professor of accountancy at the Gies College of Business, where she bridges the worlds of accounting research and computational innovation. With extensive experience in Wolfram Language, Fei specializes in applying computational tools to business data analytics and educational technology, developing interactive computational dashboards, financial data mining solutions and AI-integrated storytelling using Wolfram Mathematica.

As an educator, Fei teaches Business Data Storytelling, a hands-on graduate course that uniquely blends computational thinking with business insights. Her innovative approach to education earned her the prestigious 2024 Wolfram Innovator Award for her exceptional integration of Wolfram tools into her teaching methodology. She is also coauthor of the Creative Data Analytics e-book published by Wolfram Media, where each chapter functions as a real-time interactive application.

Dr. Du has established herself as a scholar with publications in top-tier academic journals, including The Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies and Journal of Management Accounting Research.
