The Wolfram Language: Enterprise-Class Web Applications
This course chronicles Wolfram Research's two internal projects: a massive, real-time network traffic visualization and an advertisement dashboard system for Wolfram|Alpha. From planning to deployment, both projects were completed in a relatively short period of time. This real-world, scenario-driven course addresses topics that are applicable to many enterprise-wide projects: large database access (SQL and HBase), kernel as a background service, dynamic visualization with no interruption, and deploying a complex web interface through Computable Document Format (CDF) technology.
