Academy of Medical, Physical and Natural Sciences

The Academy of Medical, Physical and Natural Sciences of Guatemala was created by the University of San Carlos of Guatemala on October 15, 1945, with the aim of promoting scientific research within an ethical framework. The Academy has made important contributions to Guatemalan society. One of them is to welcome the most outstanding people dedicated to science and offer a meeting place to discuss scientific and technological issues. In addition, it has contributed to efforts that have materialized in works and events of high value, in the promotion of science, technology and innovation in the country.

The Academy of Medical, Physical and Natural Sciences of Guatemala promoted an initiative to recognize the importance of science and technology activities for the development of the country. This initiative was established in the Political Constitution of the Republic of Guatemala, and the Academy, together with representatives from other universities and other sectors, contributed to the construction of the National System of Science and Technology.

Wolfram is a fundamental pillar in schools, institutes, universities, research centers, private companies and the public sector, including the top 200 educational institutions in the world. Many of these institutions have an ideal system of Wolfram technologies.
